STUDIO EI8HT ZERO has gone international! The Miami Illustrated collection is now being featured via the guys at woodhi Paris. Below is my groovy little profile entry that I was asked to complete in order to be a part of the woodhi family. The Tygart Lake Golf Course located in scenic Grafton, West Virginia, reached out to the studio recently for the development and branding of their 50th Anniversary. While this will be an ongoing project, we are excited to show off the most important piece of the project... the logo. If you are in the area, make sure you pay them a visit and play a round or two... or maybe just grab a drink or dinner at the restaurant. Happy Anniversary!
The studio was recently tapped by a new real estate duo in the coastal South Carolina region, to help create the look and feel of their new identity. Working very closely with the Tanner-Smithson team and paying close attention to the details and their needs, the end result was a perfect juxtaposition of strong design and vibrant illustration that has now become the face of this new team. The logo is shown below and the illustration of the Lightkeepers Village Lighthouse will be used in upcoming marketing and promotional materials along the Grand Strand. Looking forward to more great opportunities with these two talented individuals!
Pastor Father Cassabon from St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in North Charleston, South Carolina approached the studio about developing a new look for his new parish. Thrilled to take on this opportunity, the first place I looked was to the building and its architecture. After several looks were presented, this is the logo that everyone felt strongly about.. including myself. If you are Catholic and in the Charleston area, make sure you attend one of his masses. He has been an inspiration to not only myself, but everyone who he has come in to contact with.
Here is a perfect example of how the studio can be a one stop shop... especially when it comes to the wedding industry. Ashley and Kenny approached the studio earlier this year regarding engagement photography (pictured below). From that point on, we continued to work with the happy couple on the creation of everything from their save the date cards to the wedding invitations. Shortly after those items were created, they came back again to ask if we would be willing to photograph the big day. That big day is here and we couldn't be more excited and honored to be just a small part of it all. Congratulations Ashley and Kenny... Wishing you nothing but the best as you begin your life together as husband and wife!
I recently had the opportunity to work with a very talented photographer on his new venture, which he named "Coastal Portraits and Weddings: A Celebration of Life Through Images." The first step was to create the logo, which was extremely warm and inviting (not to mention clean and modern). From there, the logo was applied to everything from business cards and letterheads to rack cards, posters and flyers. If you are heading to the beach for some fun in the sun and would like your experience documented, make sure you check this group out!
The studio was approached by a member of the Sigma Kappa chapter at Coastal Carolina University in Conway, South Carolina, to photograph the 2015 Spring Formal festivities that took place both on and off-campus. Here are just a few images from a great shoot with a great group of young people. Wishing them all the best!
I was approached by one of the newest members of the Myrtle Beach Caddy Girls, to nail down a couple of images that she could use to help promote herself on the Caddy Girls web site. We met at the entrance of a neighborhood in Myrtle Beach called The Farm and the end result was exactly what we both had in mind. Here are just a couple of my favorites from that evening shoot.
I recently had the pleasure of hooking up with the extremely talented Myrtle Beach based photographer, Carl Kerridge, who agreed to let me photograph him for a very intense and on going project I am working on here in the studio. We met up at Carl's studio to nail down this shoot and had a great time playing with lighting, settings, angles and just talking shop. While the project I am working on will take a great deal of time and energy to complete, I thought I would just share a few of my favorite shots from that afternoon. Thanks again Carl and I encourage everyone to check out his work at www.carlkerridgephotography.com.
That is the tagline for the "Be Well Coach" out of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, whose mission is to help others achieve their health goals through education, love and support. In short, whole foods, clean eating and mindset will get you where you want to be. Dieting is not the way to a healthy lifestyle and my studio helped bring that to life with this creative and fun icon. I recently had the pleasure of designing a logo for a neighborhood in Florida called Harbor Bluffs. Upon being asked to create this, my first step was to take a trip through the web to familiarize myself with this community. Within a matter of minutes, something on google earth caught my eye and needless to say, ended up being the overwhelming favorite from those who reviewed the designs that were submitted. Maybe this was too easy or maybe it was just meant to be. Either way, I couldn't be happier with the final outcome.
A wonderful charity in which I had the pleasure of creating the identity for. This was started by Kelly Miles Barr and her brothers and you can read all about it, as well as donate to the cause here: http://www.gofundme.com/survivorassistance
Blue and White Friday: A facebook unity rally to show solidarity, unity and peace while remembering those who died in the Charleston Shooting last week. Below is the "I Heart South Carolina" contribution to the amazing support being shown not only in the state, but around the world.
Yesterday the iconic "I Heart South Carolina" logo was featured on a unique blog titled "Avocado A Day Nutrition." Due to the content of this specific blog post, I was honored to have this design featured. You can read all about why here: http://avocadoadaynutrition.com/2015/06/the-importance-of-community/
