When Art Meets Religion

Pastor Father Cassabon from St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in North Charleston, South Carolina approached the studio about developing a new look for his new parish. Thrilled to take on this opportunity, the first place I looked was to the building and its architecture. After several looks were presented, this is the logo that everyone felt strongly about.. including myself. If you are Catholic and in the Charleston area, make sure you attend one of his masses. He has been an inspiration to not only myself, but everyone who he has come in to contact with.

The big day is here...

Here is a perfect example of how the studio can be a one stop shop... especially when it comes to the wedding industry. Ashley and Kenny approached the studio earlier this year regarding engagement photography (pictured below). From that point on, we continued to work with the happy couple on the creation of everything from their save the date cards to the wedding invitations. Shortly after those items were created, they came back again to ask if we would be willing to photograph the big day. That big day is here and we couldn't be more excited and honored to be just a small part of it all. Congratulations Ashley and Kenny... Wishing you nothing but the best as you begin your life together as husband and wife!

Creative for Creative

I recently had the opportunity to work with a very talented photographer on his new venture, which he named "Coastal Portraits and Weddings: A Celebration of Life Through Images." The first step was to create the logo, which was extremely warm and inviting (not to mention clean and modern). From there, the logo was applied to everything from business cards and letterheads to rack cards, posters and flyers. If you are heading to the beach for some fun in the sun and would like your experience documented, make sure you check this group out!

The newest Caddy Girl

I was approached by one of the newest members of the Myrtle Beach Caddy Girls, to nail down a couple of images that she could use to help promote herself on the Caddy Girls web site. We met at the entrance of a neighborhood in Myrtle Beach called The Farm and the end result was exactly what we both had in mind. Here are just a couple of my favorites from that evening shoot.

The Man, The Myth, The Legend

I recently had the pleasure of hooking up with the extremely talented Myrtle Beach based photographer, Carl Kerridge, who agreed to let me photograph him for a very intense and on going project I am working on here in the studio. We met up at Carl's studio to nail down this shoot and had a great time playing with lighting, settings, angles and just talking shop. While the project I am working on will take a great deal of time and energy to complete, I thought I would just share a few of my favorite shots from that afternoon. Thanks again Carl and I encourage everyone to check out his work at www.carlkerridgephotography.com.

Harbor Bluffs, Florida

I recently had the pleasure of designing a logo for a neighborhood in Florida called Harbor Bluffs. Upon being asked to create this, my first step was to take a trip through the web to familiarize myself with this community. Within a matter of minutes, something on google earth caught my eye and needless to say, ended up being the overwhelming favorite from those who reviewed the designs that were submitted. Maybe this was too easy or maybe it was just meant to be. Either way, I couldn't be happier with the final outcome.

Blue and White Friday

Blue and White Friday: A facebook unity rally to show solidarity, unity and peace while remembering those who died in the Charleston Shooting last week. Below is the "I Heart South Carolina" contribution to the amazing support being shown not only in the state, but around the world.
